Ok, so its cashes in the aac audio codec, I think maybe you can disable audio, should be able to play clip if you do.

I can try to find a newer codec, maybe its fixed.

I dont know the No Altivec is working ok only the Altivec crash with no audio too.

This will be hard to debug, as AmigaOS4 Grim does not display the vector registers.

There are two option is one is force it to use the none AltiVec code in audio codec, the other one is find a newer audio codec.

Tried a few different audio tracks from here, it did not crash:

The new optimized MPlayer for X1000 seems ok so far without any problems. I tried just a couple of music video clips.

Yes it be shame to have to disable AltiVec for AAC if its only one video clip.

As you have too a non-betatester x1000, could you try it please with SMTube or WebReplay ?

On my setup, without "-cache" it hangs every 2-3 seconds.

As a test i didn't prepare any real bench, but just a simple test in real life with a not so big avi video that have this specifications/properties:

So in general considering that it is a first version all seems good already except for some graphical glitches with certain video mode, then of course all the other things that need to be reimplemented (ARexx, mouse and so on)
From now on I hope you can easily re-use all parts of code already availible in Google repository and of course continue to work side by side with Roman

Its not a feature for this version, press 'F' on the keyboard.

Your computer is too slow, to playback that type movie.

Use no loop filters, it helps.

Yes its not buffered, I can buffer it but it will just make video player back slower, possibly.

When you pause the movie, it switches to buffered mode, when you resize you see the CPU load increases, when resizing window.

Compositing (the default one i presume)

The new version of Mplayer for X1000 works better than beta3.
I can look original Avatar DVD in fullscreen . Video/Sound is 100% synchron.
720HD Youtube videos working well now. Not 100% smooth but very good.
Avatar have has multiple audio tracks.How can i get german speech?

So far so good. No fullscreen with p96_pip (written in the doc). I made some tests with my AmigaOne XE G4 1,26 Ghz and Radeon 9000 Pro (you also fixed compositing mode with my 9000 Pro ).

By the way : you really should not activate the skiploop filter in the config file. This option degrades the video (macroblocks) and should only be used with HD movies to enhance the speed. Since MPlayer-GUI already has a checkbox for this, it should not be activated by default.

We can also see that Compositing mode, while being the slower on my G4 makes use of AltiVec optimizations seing the difference between AltiVec version and NON AltiVec version.
