helping out brand new user

hi guys, the past few weeks i've been helping out a new user to our favourite OS.
the other day i was helping him to get WHDLoad games working with RunInUae and all games requiring kick 3.1 worked fine but those requiring kick1.3 didnt?

question is which kickrom files go in which folder to get the kick1.3 stuff working?

More info needed... What hardware? What OS version?

Ok, all the kickstart files should be in sys:emulation/AmigaRoms.

Kick 1.3 should already be there (34.4) everything should work out of the box. just double clicking on an adf file should start uae and run the game. maybe if you installed whdload it overwrote some files?

Ok thanks! Yes indeed that's probably why happened as I know he had recently installed and registered WHDLoad.
I guess reinstalling RunInUAE would fix any missing files.

If E-UAE fails to work, check it's logged output (Control E-UAE > Show log) for hints as to what went wrong.
