X1000 packed away again... :-(

Phase two of the house renovations are set to begin, so sadly my X1000 is yet again boxed and stored...
For phase one of the renovations I was Amigaless for over a year!

This time, I have no idea how long it will be packed for. I hope to be back in action by September to enjoy the Amistore goodies, although I suspect that is an optimistic date...

I suppose one bonus about an enforced absence is the bounty of updates that accumulate. Last time, I missed loads, including Update6!

Wow, good luck. I remember when I sold the only Amiga I had and got so sick of only being able to use Windows. I don't think I lasted 6 months before I got another Amiga and felt free again.

Hey, mate - same here: My systems are packed since 6 months for the same reason...still don't know when I'll be able to set them up again. But the house needs more care atm...
Maybe we both will (hopefully) reappear in September...

Yes, we are doing the whole house. Phase one was the build. Phase 2 is the refit and decoration.

It is a complete nightmare!

Construction is an evil necessity but I'm sure that once it's completed you'll have finally set up a nice little man cave for your Amiga gear and be proudly playing with your X1000 again

Same situation here, I promised to my wife that I will do wallpapering for the "computer room" and X1000 will be poweroff until it's done.
(allmost couple weeks and I haven't even started yet...soo lazy...
