Mate, as you know In latest versions of MPlayer (p96 driver) the white stripes come back .. do you prefer to have a new specific bugreport for it .. or we can skip ?
hi, just wondering if you have planed some update on MPlayer gui interface, not that i dislike or wanted to say anything negative around the MPlayer, you all have done insanely good job.. but, as i can't code, i try to help in another way.
I did find a site who sells complete GUI design, i just wanted to show it, in-case it was something of value for MPlayer.
As i said, i can't code, but if this would be interesting, i will pay for license if you all wanted it.
As I have understood me on the license, so you can use it the way we want it, I think. unless the MPlayer program is placed for sale. But I will of course have acquired the license that best suits the purpose you all want it. I know it can certainly be some work to implement it. I would be happy if could help, i gladly do it if it comes to that. If this is not compatible or that it is not possible or you off course has no plans to work on skinning mplayer, then that's just fine, i just wanted to mention it.

Well I have been thinking about doing a GUI like the one you found, or implement the GUI support found in MPlayer HQ with skins.
I'm not interested in paying for license for a GUI design, if I was going to do that It be my own design or a design from some who was willing to offer it for free.
However this not a priority for me.

I know it isn't priority, that's why you would have it for free from me. You should use all your strength in coding the ultimate media player, that's why i offered to help, i know designing your apps by your self is more appealing for most people, as i understand you doing nice progress. but until you finish, and until you & community would do nice gui, you could use the one i found. ok, think about it, maybe others agreed or disagree..
I was wondering something... Why MPayer works only if Wazp3D is installed with -vo comp ? Actually on my Sam460, if I put away wazp3D and try to launch a video with -vo comp, I have only an output for sounds but no video. ??? Wazp3D emulate Warp3D so -vo comp needs Warp3D ?
Thanks

Why MPayer works only if Wazp3D is installed with -vo comp ?
Most be a OS bug, liveforit-MPlayer does not use nor need Wazp3d.
Only limitation for composition is that you your graphic cards needs to be able to do hardware accelerated composition, if your graphic card do not support it, you should get a window with out graphics.
Make shore your using the correct mplayer, if you have a mplayer with out vo_comp you will get no window like you say, if you have more then one mplayer installed then some application will use the last one you used, and there for not have all video output drivers.
If you are using smtube then you need QT and Wazp3d, that's however nothing to do with liveforit-mplayer.

Ask your self what you be paying for the arrangement of play pause buttons and so on, besides I think it looks like copycat of the youtube gui, what makes there design unique anyway?
And even YouTube stole the design of pause & play buttons from a cassette player, so I do not think we need to pay anyone for a few buttons.
Next some one will try to make you pay for double click feature, its insanity rally.

Some minor fixes, nothing to do with DVD, I have not tried my self, I suggest you investigating options for the mplayer config file, maybe there are some configuration options that might help.
Likely cause of this issue is because liveforit-mplayer is using old source code. Try to use a newer mplayer like one jurge has compiled.

will popup a requester asking for volume "http:" if you ignore and ignre and then ignore the third time too, it will proceded to attempt to fetch the url as specified (and fail correctly in this case as it's invalid )
The popup should not occur, and does not occur on the other two (older) mplayers on os4depot.
No, it does the same with avalid url. The url is "valid" in http terms and once you've cleared the requesters it corrcetly reports a 403 access denied error.
I used the build from os4depot. Was that built post new SDK ?
