SFS\0 and SFS\2 are just two different instances of the same SmartFileSystem. They can be created with the same binary SmartFileSystem.
The differences are that SFS\2 can handle bigger volumes and bigger files, while SFS\0 has (some) repair tool support, which is non-existant for SFS\2.
So I would recommend everybody to use SFS\0 for all partitions except those few which you need to either be bigger than (I think it is) 128 GB, or on which you need to store files of 2 GB or more in size (e.g. DVD ISO images). Those should be SFS\2, and should be backed up with extra eagerness and care - don't forget to test recovering your backups
