FTP support in Opus5.
Copying files larger then 2Gbytes, from PC to AmigaOS4.1, does not work. I get a DOS error: disk is full error.

looks like I have wrong FS on this partition, I will take backup, change file system, and try again.

All Amiga flesystems except JXFS have a filesize limit of 2GB - 2 bytes. You would be better keeping such files on an external usb hard drive that you can plug into either system.

If it's only for temporary storage, eg. testing large files with mplayer then set up a small JXFS partition but don't put anything on it you want to keep.

Ps. I hate the new amigans website. <shudder>

@Severin

I believe SFS\2 (not SFS\0) also handles files larger than 2 GB.

Best regards,

According to this post
SFS supports 4GB - 2 bytes and SFS/2 1TB but the table also says FFS2 supports 4GB - 2 bytes (maybe 32k blocks?).

@LiveForIt

Are you trying to use big video files for testing mplayer? iirc Mplayer chokes iif you feed it a file bigger than around 1.7GB, I had a 2.5gb file that it would never play.
