Fast test today.

Game works, moving forward is very fast, (too fast?)turning right/left is very slow. Cursor has some kind of shadow effect??? It draw black line behind of it when movin.

Voices are OK, no graphic problems.

You propably already knew those.

You have two modes (cursor/mouselook), you can switch between them with the right mouse button. Make sure to read the tutorial messages or the manual for the controls and how the interface works. Speaking of controls, F11 displays the framerate, and I could really use some profiling info too. I'm going to send you some saves of later areas of the game, where the framerate really plummets.

The shadow effect is supposed to be transparent, but the aforementioned MiniGL bug prevents it from working properly.

OK more tests. Frame rate is slow :( 7-20 fps, but actually over are feeling is playable, propably because this isn't first person shooter. Though I haven seen more than two enemies in same screen.

Video options doesn't do anything? Am I right? At least they doesn't affect to framerate.

Turning with cursor keys seems to be slow, that is not a problem with a mouse.

Lowering the resolution and the fog distance does affect the framerate. The LOD option uses an OpenGL 1.4 feature, which is not available in MiniGL, but it would only affect the video memory usage anyway.

Hmm, almost 17% of the time is spent in minigl. Anyway, this is all the info you got? No function offset/count/name? Could you try again with a longer sampling time, e.g. hieronymus duration=20?

Is possible to port to AmigaOs or other PPC os systems
Nulldc360 ? https://github.com/gligli
What do you think about?

@tlosm
nulldc is not portable, and a dreamcast emulator would require a very good SH4 PPC dynarec to be usable.

@utri007
Thanks. I need the actual log, because that's where I can see which function uses the majority of the CPU time. Were this log made during gameplay? The intro is fine too, since it's rendered with the game engine.

Oh ok, i was little sure of the portability because that was the Xbox 360 version made with the G5 developer Kit,good to know .

I stand corrected. That certainly sounds better, but I still think a Dreamcast emulator is too ambitious given the hw/sw limitations. A Mupen64 port might be more realistic.

I need some help. OS3.5/9 has a VinCed, is there any similar for OS4? When I run Hieronymus I can only see those wich fit into screen and that log is not big :( I need to be able scroll up in shell window.

Or even better, redirect the output to a file, and send it to me as an attachment. Just fire up the game to some juicy scene, and start:

utri007: There is 'recorder' though. From shell.doc:

Quote:

RECORDER can be used to capture all data sent to a console window
to be displayed. This includes both regular program output and shell
commands entered on the command line.
