Brewing software port for AmigaOS

I dont know if there are any homebrewers out there who knows anyone who might be interested to port it. Maybe not the most needed software to bring to amigaos but it would be useful for me at least

Brewtarget is FREE brewing software, and an open source beer recipe creation tool available for Linux, Mac, and Windows. It automatically calculates color, bitterness, and other parameters for you while you drag and drop ingredients into the recipe. Brewtarget also has many other tools such as priming sugar calculators, OG correction help, and a unique mash designing tool.

It also can export and import recipes in BeerXML, allowing you to easily share recipes with friends who use BeerSmith or other programs. All of this means that Brewtarget is your single, free, go-to tool when crafting your beer recipes.

Sorry for your brewery, we don't have Phonon in our OS4 Qt!

"cmake
-- Phonon includes NOT found!
-- Phonon library NOT found!"

According to the changelog, you should be able to build it without phonon.

This is just like television, only you can see much further.

You are right, it's better, no more phonon deps error but a mess in the cmakefile.
I don't have the courage and the time, sorry Joeled !

What?!!? Does this mean that we won't have any beer for our end of the month party???

PS: @Joeled are you really brewing your own beer? Or planning to do so?

I would love to have something like that software on AmigaOS. Now I don't make any beer by myself but I really hope do some in near future. This is quite interesting subject that I would manage to learn something about brewing methods. I hope also that is someone who can port this tool to our beloved OS. :D

Why not make a native Amiga app, naming it "Shadow of the Yeast?"

It could even be called "Alien Brewed."

I managed to compile Brewtarget, but the SQLite plugin for QSqlDatabase doesn't seem to work.

No idea, you have to ask alfkil about that.

This could be interesting and potentially fun to play with (not to mention yet another reason to use the Amiga ;) ).

The other half bought me a brewing kit for my birthday. I have my second batch bottled at the moment and it should be ready for drinking in a few days.

As far as I'm concerned QSqlDatabase is native too, since its plugins use the "native" databese engines (although not the old one you've linked, but the sqlite3.so bundled with the OS itself). I'm definitely not going to rewrite the whole database handling, but I welcome any suggestions on getting the Qt SQLite plugin to work.
