@AmigOS It is expected that you are not using 640x480 for AmigaOS4's Workbench!
Do you not have any OTHER 640x480 screenmodes (than the Fake Native one)?
If not, then that MIGHT cause E-UAE to run slower (I've never tested this case), because it will probably use that Fake Native 640x480 mode... but that mode has a performance hit because it emulates Classic Amiga planar (non-chunky) screens.
In which case it would be worth fixing your lack of a proper Radeon monitor icon (follow Han's description), so that you can manually add a proper 640x480 screenmode, so that E-UAE will use that.
@AmigOS You don't have a proper monitor icon in DEVS:Monitors (it's called PCIGraphics rather than Radeon something-or-other), resulting in no possibility to create custom screen resolutions. I'm suggesting that you follow Han's fix given in this post: http://www.amigans.net/modules/xforum ... t_id=93983#forumpost93983
I have done all this: - Created a copy of PCIGraphics in DEVS/Monitors (I created a duplicate of the file PCIGraphics file) - Rename the copy to "Radeon"** (renamed it Radeon RV730) - Change the BOARDNAME tooltype from "PCIGraphics" to "Radeon" (I did this by right clicking on Radeon RV730, selecting Info tab and Icons; then changed values. Saved) - Change the CMPLENGTH tooltype to CMPLENGTH=6 (I'm using CMPLENGTH=12) - Saved
Now, how do I test this new configuration or use it? If what I did is correct, shoulod I delete the PCIGraphics file to be able to use the new config?
You complained about the monitor tab in screenmode prefs being disabled. Well, if everything is set up right, then you should now be able to use that tab.
I haven't being complaining, but only seeking help to fix this issue that I'm having. And I am grateful for all the help that I've been receiving.
Here is a link to see a picture or screengrab (sorry, but I don't know how to embed pictures to posts here) https://www.dropbox.com/s/juotao6okw9y ... enMode%20Preferences?dl=0 showing that I now have a functional Monitor tab). Selections are grayed-out since Detect Settings Automatically is selected.

Of course they are. However, you should now be able to deselect "Detect Settings Automatically" and manually create modes (should you want to). You couldn't do that before.
@AmigOS If you use Sys:Prefs/ScreenMode, do you now see a (non-FakeNative) 640x480 resolution listed? (Under the "Available Modes" tab.)
If not, then the easiest solution is to go to Sys:Devs/Monitors folder, get Icon Information for your Radeon icon, go to the Icon tab, and in Tooltypes add the following new line at the bottom:
MODE=640x480@60
Click Save, wait a few seconds, and then reboot (a soft reboot is fine).
Double-check that you have a (non-FakeNative) 640x480 resolution listed by Sys:Prefs/ScreenMode, under the "Available Modes" tab? If yes, then see if RunInUAE performs any better. (It may not, after all that, but you will have at least ruled-out one possible reason for your issues.)
