Warp3D RadeonHD Southern Islands. Tested SI Graphics cards.

Hi all,

The release of Warp 3D for RadeonHD SI cards is good and exciting news.
However it may mean a graphics card upgrade for many of us. Here we can report those which work.

The official readme states that it is compatible with cards;

Containing one of the following RadeonHD or Radeon Rx Southern Island graphics cards:

* Radeon HD 7750-7970 series graphics card (excluding the Radeon HD 7790)
* Radeon R7 250X/265 (excluding R7 250)
* Radeon R9 270/270X/280/280X
* Important to select a card with GDDR5 memory and *not* DDR3

Please list if your SI card works with Warp3D. Try to include as much info about your card as possible. I will collate the posts and update this first post.

I used the following: HIS Radeon HD 7770 iCooler GHz Edition (H777F1G2M)

The driver works well with this one; it should, as that's the card that is being used for development of the driver.

In theory, any Southern Islands card on the 2D Radeon HD driver's compatibility list as working, should work just fine with the Warp3D driver.

BTW, there are probably cards missing from the compatibility list on my site, so at some point we should compare lists.

The main purpose for my list is to help users locate a compatible card - Hence my need for vendor details.

More than happy to compare lists. The one on HDRlab seems a little out of date?

Plz throw your results with quake3 from huno and cow3d :)

I can't test Quake 3 at the moment. It seems to think I haven't got pak0.pk3, I checked and it's present. Any ideas?

Cow 3D 93-94 fps.

I forgot to say, that the HIS 7770 iCooler is a dual-slot card, and was tested in an A1-X1000.

Yes, the HDRLab list is a bit dated. People don't always remember to send me their card details when they try out one that hasn't been tested before.

My system is SAM 440 FLEX with OS4.1 FE

The card SKU# is : 11201-20-20G
Sapphire HD 7770

I see the Uboot, and load the kickstar, but don't have disk activity after that and don't boot.

LUBUNTU 10.04 ( that works fine with my HD 6870) give me many errors at boot and stop with an error.
