@zzd10h
Can you do a complete test with all the 4 resolutions above ?

Why X1000 is very better than SAM460 on Quake3 and very worst on Cow3D ??? Why the Sam460 would get better results with cow3d is a mystery to me. I get about 95-96 fps (a1_x1000 + HD 7770), and pushing 'b' makes zero difference.
For Quake 3, it has the overhead of MiniGL (cow3d is pure Warp3D), and it has other stuff to calculate too. So it's not surprising that the more powerful CPU wins.

@Hans Thank you for the reply. @Alain Any ideas why X1000 is very worst than SAM460 on your Cow3D ? Thx

@Zzd10h I agree with Hans for quake :it use much the cpu for cow3d only the bus speed may explain the differences Alain

for me, cow3d under wazp3d works, but reports 0FPS. Why is this?

@thellier Thanks for explanation. Therefore it means that X1000 have the worst bus speed ? Even worst than a SAM460... strange.

@Hans Maybe related than the only users that complains about slowness of FE (compared to 4.1.6) are X1000 users (me, Raziel, xenic, Guibrush, K-L and certainly more) and no SAM460 users have reported some slowness. Maybe ?

I remember a Frieden talking at one point about how Q3 was spending most of its time in inefficiencies in the way the 2D talks to the 3D subsystem, is that why results aren't as fast as they should be on q3? I get just over 21fps on q3 on my A1 (800MHz, Radeon 9250), but it should really be higher. Didn't FE change the graphics subsystem? Does minigl need to be updated to work more efficiently?

@Spectre660 Yes but I think we are just discussing the AmigaOne X1000 here, enjoy the stats while you can ;)
