And you, do you test others Warp3D games ?

If yes, don't hesitate to participate. Thank you.

In Urban Terror you should load a small map like ut4_dressingroom. Although I can not understand why that amount is not enough when 128 MB was (almost) sufficient with regular ioquake3.

To be more exact, on G3 CPU & RV280 GPU I was able to play UrT 4.1 in that map and some others. Perhaps later versions are more demanding. 512 MB + 128 MB VRAM, resolution 400x300.

WipeOut 2097 can only works under Sam440 (with the newest Warp3D driver for RadeonHD) as there are no WarpOS wrapper for Sam460/X1000 ..

Wow, that's a lot of games.

The total list of all games on my X1000:
"Soliton", "Megaball"
And that's two more than I have on my micro.

I guess I'm not getting the full experience. ;)

Impressive graphics though.

Congratulations to Hans and the team, I know a lot of people have been waiting/hoping to get warped in hardware.

The 256mb gfx RAM limit still persists. Will this ever be overcome?

While you may not see all the memory in the OS, the Radeon HD render manager provides access to memory above 256MB for storage of textures and other data.

Are you sure ? During my tests (see previous post in this thread), I encountered a lot of games that filled all the GFX 256 mb and stalls.

I monitored that with GFXDock to have a real-time memory consumption status.

Therefore, sadly, my experience shows that we are still limited to 256mb.

Maybe, Hans could have the kindness to explain it to us ?

Thanks. What you say isn't my experience. Like zzd10h I get out of gfx RAM crashes. In gfxdock, 99% RAM usage is about 254mb, then lock up.

Any success with glQuake?

I get a glimpse of the console then a dsi. If ignored I get a black screen with game sound stuttering along.

I tried a fresh install of glquake to allow for new config files. I am using known working data files.
