That's what I'm talking about! Updated my list with these. Valyria Tear moved to SDL2 recently, that's a no-go, the rest could be doable. MegaGlest and co might turn into a slideshow.

This is just like television, only you can see much further.

And FreeOrion seems to use OGRE, that's a pipedream at this point :\

@Raziel
Arx Libertatis: I have a finished port, but the performance on the later areas is not good enough.
fheroes2: already ported by someone else
VCMI: needs an up to date C++11 compiler (GCC 4.7+ for the latest version, AFAIR)

FHeroes2 was ported years ago but not updated to the latest version. The AI is completely rubbish in the released OS4 version.

Tried OpenJK, works good as mentionned in "Warp3D SI : Tests thread" but I'm unable to go after the cinematic scene after the first level.

The first level play fine, when completed, I see the cinematic of the jedi school and after black screen. I hear voices but nothing else.

Of course, I tried on Windows, it works.

Is you or somebody succeeded to pass the first "level" ?

Thank you

Well I did. Actually I played through most of the single player campaign of both JO and JA with a Radeon 9250 card. Unfortunately I can't do much about the incompatibilities with the new driver.

Weird. I had no such problem when I tried it. Are you still using version 1.9 by any chance? If so, switch to version 1.8 (you may need to download it again).

Ok, now i'm completely lost.
What should i install to get the "tested and known working" combination?

March 31st (on OS4Depot.net):

minigl.library/mglut.library 2.20 (29.03.2015)

April 1st (on AmiStore):
W3D_SI.library driver version 1.9 (01.04.2015) were offered for download (Obviously a mistakenly released beta)
Together with it in the package was minigl.library/mglut.library 2.19 (27.03.2015)

April 2nd and following (on AmiStore):
W3D_SI.library driver version 1.8 (25.03.2015)
minigl.library/mglut.library 2.18 (25.03.2015)

I guess W3D_SI.library 1.8 together with minigl/mglut.library 2.20?

if AmigaOs dont have the right OpenGL it can use software rendering :P

Another can be the Libretro Super
I had success build it on MacOsX 10.5 and on LinuxPPC probably on amigaos it can be ported too ?

I can easily update the port to the latest SVN revision.

I'm not sure if the AI will be better though as last time I read that the author wouldn't release the source code for his better AI reserving it for his binary releases because he was afraid that the code would get stolen.

You are right, with 1.8 driver, I can pass the 1st level.

Is this bug fixed in > 1.9 driver ?
Thx

Is it so that 1.9 driver is accidentally released beta driver? I think that Trevor said so.

@Raziel, utlri
Yep, that what Trevor said: 1.9 was with some experimental optimization, which while works, make unnecessary problems, bugs and code complication. So Hans dedicated to continue from 1.8.

In other words - 1.9 should be removed and 1.8 be in use till new version come up.

Has there been any discussion about OpeRaider?

https://github.com/xythobuz/OpenRaider

Depencies are :

Dependencies•C++11 compatible compiler
• OpenGL (3.3 Core Profile compatible)
• cmake (>= 2.8.8)
• GLM (>= 0.9.6)
•glbinding
• SDL2 or GLFW
• OpenAL & ALUT (optional, needed for sound output)

Yes there is a SDL2, but it says OR GLFW. When I check what GLFW does, it give me a impression that SDL2 is not used a much.

This is GLFW description :

GLFW is an Open Source, multi-platform library for creating windows with OpenGL contexts and receiving input and events. It is easy to integrate into existing applications and does not lay claim to the main loop.

GLFW is written in C and has native support for Windows, OS X and many Unix-like systems using the X Window System, such as Linux and FreeBSD.

Another nice to have is Cannonball wich is Outrun remake.

https://github.com/djyt/cannonball/wiki

Quick look makes it seem impossible, but someone has already ported it to Linux :

http://www.mameau.com/cannonball-for- ... 4i686-tars-compile-guide/
https://build.opensuse.org/package/sho ... all&project=home%3Advlara

More to come :) xoreos is an open source implementation of Bioware's Aurora engine. It would allow many games, like a

Neverwinter Nights
Neverwinter Nights 2
Knights of the Old Republic
Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
Jade Empire
Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood
The Witcher
Dragon Age
Dragon Age 2

I didn't found any information about depencies. :( though my search took about 2 minits. ;)

@utri007
There is a more advanced and active Tomb Raider engine in the works called OpenTomb: https://sourceforge.net/projects/opentomb/
It shows a lot of promise, but it's still a pre-alpha according to the sf.net page. I'm subscribed to the main developer's youtube channel, and loosely follow the videos about the progress.
Xoreos is in the very early stages of the development, as you can see: https://xoreos.org/about/index.html#currentstatus

How about CannonBall/Outrun remake?

I think that openraider is already a game, when opentomb has just a engine without actual game play??
