Hi,

I have recently been getting the following message on Odyssey when trying to login to my TSB online banking. No doubt due to an "improvement" in the bank's web pages.


A problem occurred while loading https://secure.tsb.co.uk/personal/login?mobile=false.
Error 56: Failure when receiving data from the peer.


IBrowse manages to get onto the site but the lack of CSS makes it pretty unreadable. Any idea what might be causing this error in Odyssey?

Spoofing as different browsers makes no difference.

I would try Timberwolf but that just seems to crash these days

I have just click on your link. That works.

The problem may come from your internet provider, dns...
I have the same problem as you with paypal.

It is after you enter details and try to load the following page(s) that the error occurs. The URL just redirects back to the first page if you have not started the login process. It is the intermediate stages that have the problem - if anyone else uses TSB online banking they could check it out and see if they get through.

Have you tried going through the cookies manager and deleting all tsb cookies?

Don't delete all or you will lose all your user/pass entries.

If that doesn't work they have probably upgraded to SSL3, in which case you're stuffed until SSL is updated.

Thanks for the tip.

I deleted all the TSB cookies except for my UID.

I was then able to login as normal
