I will confirm this bug. Here is an exact step by step guide to reproduce (not all steps are needed, but this will reproduce it for anyone).
0. Install DirectoryOpus 4.18.42. Download amivnc4.lha (random archive) and store it in DH1: 1. Delete or rename DirectoryOpus.CFG 2. Reboot computer. 3. Start DirectoryOpus 4.18.42. 4. Extract amivnc4.lha to SYS: 5. Open SYS: in the right lister. 6. Open DH1: in the left-lister. 7. Double-click amivnc4.lha in left-lister. 8. Highlight AmiVNC4 in left-lister. 9. Click Copy. 10. DOS error code 212 - object is not of required type.
This bug only happens if the archive has already been previously extracted, and you're copying a directory that already exists in the target location. Overwriting files is OK, but not merging directories.
Summary: Directory "X" already exists in target location. Archive also has directory "X" which you've highlighted, and clicked "Copy" to merge the archive's directory X with your existing directory X.
Bug is also in .41, so it wasn't introduced in the last update.
