It is possible to buy single board x86 Computer for PCI bus very economy price.

How difficult would use one with OS4?

-There is a some kind of opensource Janus.library for Aros/winuae
-There is a Project to use Sonnet PPC board with mediator

Thinking about that... What if you could put an old PeniumD on a Xorro Card and the out thru a PCI and be able to switch it with Xena. Of course it will need its own memory and HD.

Why to Xorro? What it would offer over PCI? Compared that fact that there is already singleboard Computers for PCI wich cost somethint like 25€

I was thinking something a bit more current, maybe Win7. And I think a Xorro/Xena option would give some access to the host system that a PCI card may not have.

Could you explain your motivation behind this request? Why not simply run another PC?

In theory you could run the PC headless and access it with the Amiga's remote desktop client and use SAMBA for file sharing.

PCI bus has a required datalines, of course it doesn't mean that those singleboard Computers has them also. That is something I would like to know. There is many kind of singleboard Computers for PCI bus, price makes them very tempting. So no Xorro board please, they would cost thousands of euros.
