UPDATE: See newer thread for latest download:
http://www.amigans.net/modules/xforum ... id=110393#forumpost110393

Sorry it's taken so long folks, but you can now download/install RunInUAE beta which contains v1.0.0 of Almos Rajnai's PPC JIT for E-UAE:
Download RunInUAE_r8-beta4.lha

The other main changes from the earlier RunInUAE betas:
* WHDLoad updated to v18.1 (2015).
* The "Disk not present" requester no-longer appears when starting the CD32 emulation without a CD inserted.
* The screen titlebar now shows RunInUAE's version.

A reminder of the previous main changes seen in earlier RunInUAE betas:
* Support for JIT has been added. (Also added status LEDs.)
* Support for a second joystick.
* Much better recognition of multiple ADF disks.
* Harddisk-installed games should save your progress (if this is supported).
* Drastically simplified the format of the per-game config files.
* Fixed some bugs, including a nasty one which would destroy the ".uaerc_RunInUAE" file.

If no-one notices any big problems with this beta, then I shall release it via AmiUpdate...

Ok no more additional requester now, however if i boot from this:

Boot CD32 from --> ICD0: (virtual drive)

Nothing is loaded neither the CD32 logo intro

It works for me! Do you have a virtual CD in the drive? Need more info.

Of course no, i didn't have any (real) CD32 game inserted, just a blank CD as a test

I though that this "virtual" term mean exactly its term, atleast the boot logo should start whenever you have an AmigaCD32 disk inserted or not ?

Atleast it worked as is in the previews beta 3 ..

I tested Slamtilt and Hugo with the new RunInUAE r8 (PPC JIT enabled) on OS4.1 Update 6. Both games work very well and fast. This is really a fantastic software. Thank you for it.

I did not mean to imply you were doing anything wrong. Just trying to understand exactly what you were doing.

However, I do see (and hear) the CD32 insert-CD animation when there is no CD in the virtual drive. Do you have any CDs in the *real* CD drive? (I recently discovered the emulator can somehow still see a real CD.)

Mmm i never had any real AmigaCD32 machine at home but i imagine that a real CD32 console would behave like a PSX.

I mean when you switch-on the console, then its logo should appers on screen .. this indipedently of the presence (or not) of a phisical CD

As a test I inserted a blank CD (and also a DVD with some spare datas) but anytime i start RunInUAE (then CD32 emulation from menu) UAE will be opened normally, but nothing will be showed on screen ...

In the previews beta 3 of RunInUAE instead the CD32 logo started in any case, just there were those requesters about the "disk not availible" etc ..

Working well thanks.

Still have an incorrect colours issue in Damocles where the buildings and vehicles are all the same colour. Can anyone confirm this issue?

Since you appear to be replying about several different situations, I'm no-longer clear what you are saying is incorrect/unexpected behaviour.

However, for me the CD32 emulation behaves the same as it has always done:
1. No CD in virtual drive (nor real drive) => insert CD animation.
2. Game CD in virtual drive => no CD animation, as game boots immediately.
3. Game CD in real drive => same behaviour as for virtual drive.

Exactly. If the system is turned on without a CD, a splash screen with scrolling colours will appear and a tune will play.

Tested a lot more now, no issues.
Will probably check more later on.

Tested mostly games apart from a few scene demos.
Will probably test a few more demos later.

Thanks for your tests. I doubt I'll be releasing it on AmiUpdate immediately, so if anyone else wants to test RunInUAE out they are more than welcome to.
