Hi Guys,

I'd like to know what's your gaming resolution when you play with your AmigaNG System. I have a Sam440ep mini-itx and I use the workbench at 1920x1080 but I play games at lower resolutions.. what's yours?

Usually 1920x1200. X1000 with R9 280 here.

24" 16:10 IPS screen here.

Depends on the game, anything from 640x480x8 to 1920x1080x32, whatever it works with.

X1000, R5450HD

Usually 640x480. The fillrate with the R200 driver sucks.

This is just like television, only you can see much further.

640x512 (yes, my display has that aspect ratio) for most PSX games.

ok thanks to all I am collecting this info because I am working to a project and I need to know the resolution that the amigans use on theirs machine

Normally 1920x1200. SAM460ex with R7 250E.

Don't forget that not everyone uses widescreen monitors, e.g. mine was 1280x1024. Although I'm currently trying a widescreen (1360x768) monitor for my PC, as I was fed-up with being treated as a second-class citizen by games...

On my Sam440, I might use 800x600 or 1024x768 for overly demanding 3D games.

It might be an idea to set up a multiselect poll to find out about peoples monitor capabilities as well. eg:

What is your Amiga monitors highest vertical resolution and aspect ratio?

· 720, 768 or lower
· 864, 900 or 940
· 1024, 1050 or 1080
· 1200
· bigger
· Widescreen (16:9, 16:10) ?
