A500+ with Developer PPC 603/150 & Amiga OS 4.0?

Please:

I have Problem with install Amiga OS 4.0 Classic on my A500+T with Blizzard 2060 + Developer PPC 603/150 + CV64/3D

OS 3.9 no problem.

After booting from OS 4.0 install partition (FFS) come this error:

C:BootLoader failed returncode 20

No Problem - I know this modification...

My first Developer PPC module also had CPU 603/300MHz...
(actual is PPC defective and module without CPU and one MACH IC - broken on my two module)

My two Developer PPC module is original 603/166 with 150MHz and working.

Btw. Here is my thead OS 4.0 Classic on A500+ and no overclock thead PPC 344MHz.

OS 3.9 has WarpUP for CPPC, BPPC and Developer PPC module.

OS 4.0 Classic has OS4 kernel only for BPPC and CPPC - here is problem...?

nice card,how did you damage the MACH IC?

perhaps your card may be better off with a BGA socket like one of my cards which also has a patent pending cooler.

I have my one Developer PPC module (2004) from Micronik Germany - MACH IC here already defective.

Why? I don't know...

In 2010 purchased yet my second module (without Power CPU) but with MACH IC OK and my Friend EXA made repair - change MACH IC.

Now have one complete working Developer PPC with 603/166 (150 MHz)

Btw. Here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AmigaOS_4 is:

Compatibility OS 4.0 Classic:

"DeveloperPPC (rare) equipped Amiga 2000 (A2000)"

I am sorry, but I have to say that we do not support such a combination.

The error message you list might point to an issue with BootLoader recognizing AmigaOS 4. Usually, AmigaOS 4 will anchor itself in the system by overriding the ROM shadow on the Blizzard; make sure you have the MapROM option enabled.

Other than that, I have no idea. I don't think it will ever work, since AmigaOS 4 assumes an A1200 or A4000.

CPPC and BPPC has this option in Flash settings, Blizzard 2060 no.

The B2040/60 has a jumper to set MapROM. I don't know which one it is right now so please see the manual
