Hi, I have just updated LiveForIt-MPlayer 5.1 to fresh 6.3 (os4depot) and I can't resize the video window anymore. With the previous 5.1 version, the window can be resized and when switching to full screen, the video fills all the screen. Now, with 6.3, the video window is no more resizable and when switching to full screen, the screen is filled with big black borders and the video is at the same size that windowed. Is it normal ? Is it because I still use OS4.1.6 with 1.2 HD drivers ? Thank you for your reply X1000 with AOS 4.1.6 Radeon HD 1.2 (by waiting the Radiance availability) PS : LiveForIt, thank you for your work that allow to use OS4 as my main computer I kept the 5.1 version.

@zzd10h Do you have AmigaOS4.1 final installed, and can you copy & paste the text output from mplayer? If you do not have the correct library versions, mplayer will not allow you to use yuv video output modes, I think it fallback to cgx_wpa or older video output.

@LiveForIt I use 4.1. 6. Could it be the problem ? On your FE X1000, the video are resizables ? Which text output ? Thank you edit ; I see that you updated your post. Which library version ? Radeon HD driver and/or FE libraries?

@zzd10h
I don't have final yet, I have beta files that have newer library versions the what's in 4.1 update 6 yes.
You will need AmigaOS4.1 final.

@zzd10h You can always use the new one to play DVD's if you like, for everything else it make more sense to use the old MPlayer if you don't have AmigaOS4.1 final.

@Kicko "if you dont want resize." It's exactly the problem, I'm old and I have to resize the videos to be able to see them ;)

@Kicko True but then it does not use Composition, nor DRI, so it uses a lot more CPU power then the Old mplayer 5.1.

@LiveForIt
I've tried LiveForIt-Mplayer 6.3 with AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition on a Sam440ep (so VO=PIP is used)
Unfortunately, I cannot go in FullScreen with F (but I can resize the video).
But the real main trouble is some weird coloured lines (like 'ghost' lines on any video I want to watch).
Was PIP video output tested with FE ?
Edited : same troubles on X1000 with Update 6 and PIP.
BTW, I have to use MPlayer-GUI 1.51 since 1.53 doesn't allow to use PIP video output
Thanks for the new version BTW

@LiveForIt I know the new Version is for the X1000 but I tested it on my SAM460ex. On my System is OS4.1 FE and driver 1.2 installed. Of course I use the non-altivec version. For my test I use a Blue-Ray rip to avi. The result is that the .avi runs slower as on version 5.1. Picture and sound runs on the old version synchronously. On the new version (6.3) Pictures run faster than sound. My Preferences:Video output:comp; Play video in:window; Monitor aspect:16:9; other video preference settings are on default. Mplayer settings (Extras) are not activated.

Still newer than yours, though.
Best regards,
