Introducing the Rear Window blog

See User information
OK, I prepared this for months and I think I can finally show you the result The Rear Window blog will follow my Amiga projects as well as provide writing space for whatever my Amiga user- and developer experience may bring. I've recently taken part in a demo-production and used my X5000 to make the music, so you can read about that for starters.

On OS4, I recommend using the Odyssey browser to view the blog. Enjoy!

Thank you for your feedback, everyone! I'm glad you like the blog (or the demo). The idea is to mix development news and updates with something more journalistic, which should provide material to keep the blog going. At some point, I plan to turn it into something more resembling a regular website, with software to download or buy.

Thanks for spreading the word!

I didn't know you were active in the demo scene.
I'll download the demo and give it a whirl.

Yes, this is a period I call "my first Amiga life" But the demoscene in the Czech Republic wasn't very vibrant, and I lost interest towards the end of the 90s. When I jumped on the AmigaOS4 bandwagon in 2009 I didn't continue writing music but, instead, rekindled my interest in application programming - something I find much more enjoyable on OS4 compared to the Classic.

Cool that you've been active in the demoscene! I used to swap/mailtrade floppies with some in the Czech Republic in the 90's. Maybe you know them? Lahve (member of Reason), Magellan (member of Royal) and I think Bolda from Horizontal Lamerz too (but can't remember 100%, hehe). Good times!

Yes I remember all three of them. I met Lahve in person a few times (he's an actor and film director now), and I exchanged a good deal of mail with Magellan (who was also active in the Atari ST scene AFAIK).

Wow, that sounds marvellous! Impressed Lahve has become both an actor and film director! :) Lost touch with them when mailtrading sort of disappeared due to most people getting Online back then, so interesting to hear how they're doing.
