Sound problem on AmigaOne X5000 with AmigaOS 4.1

Hello friends

I returned to my usual home last thursday and my Amiga One X5000 is now at hand again.

The question is that I have a new speakers that makes some sounds while booting but nothing on AmigaOS 4.1 Update 2.

When I try to play some song on AMP it gives me some AHI error.

I have an older pair of speakers left.Maybe I will try later to clean all the doubts.

The new are connected via a jack to the sound card and via USB on the back of the X5000's tower

I have no idea how to configure my speakers,AHI or anything else

Help me please!!!

What is the error in AHI?
What type sound card do you have?
Have you installed the drivers?

Well first: How can I grab the AMP,s Window and post it here

Must be on JPEG or PNG format I think no?

The sound card that Amedia installed for my use is an ENVY24HT I think

The drivers must be there yes

You need a link to your image and enclose it in a [ img ]your-link[ /img ] pair. (drop the spaces)

That linked picture shows no AHI error, though...seems to come from some windows hardware?

To get the image URL, you have to go with your mouse pointer above the image and get the image URL.

And I don't see the option on Amigans forum.

If your system makes some sound on booting then probably AHI is set up fine for the default unit. But I see that you have installed Enhancer as well. Maybe the Sound Prefs changed the other AHI units.

You also have to check in AmigaAmp Prefs which unit it is setup to use. Then try to configure this unit from AHI or Sound Prefs to the sound card you have installed.

I configured my AHI prefs as yours and now AMP can play songs,but without any audio

Could it be my newly buyed next generation speakers? They hace,Bluetooth,USB and jack connector for my soundcard

I am using USB powered speakers with a Jack connecter.
Did you plug the Jack in the correct output of the soundcard...

I have an additional problem.

My Sound program under SYS:Prefs/Sound doesn't work.

I was comparing your pic thinking it was AHI prefs but it was sound.

Any ideas?

These sound prefs come from the Enhancer software:

Have you got this installed?

If so you might try to reinstall sound through Updater (not sure if thats possible) or reinstall Enhancer software.

Hi again

I plugged this evening one cable that was disconnected on the DVD drive but the drive doesn't work.

In order of reinstall the Enhacer Software...

How can I connect well the DVD drive?

On ef the thickest cable it connects but on the other extreme it is not connected-Is a yellow cable

Or can someone send me the prefs/sound utility via PM?
