Odyssey 1.23 progress: r5 RC2

Yesterday, I downloaded and installed Odyssey 1.23 r5 beta07 ...

I am very impressed so far. It seems to be working fine.

Can anyone remind me plz what was lately issue with "download-font" script (not that one about adding --no-check-certificates to wget but something else) ?

Also, can anyone bring at me SSL sites which stop working n beta07 lately?

i mean any site which stops working only because of outdated SSL so I will locally update OpenSSL and stuff and check if things start to works again.

i remember you say that some of your email-based sites or something stops working due to outdated OpenSSL in Odyssey (not outdated cert but OpenSSL itself)?

Nah, my email ISP *updated* their site and it started to refuse my login attempts.
But nothing because of SSL (i suspected it, but in the end it was javascript)

I had to switch to a different spoofing client *and* turn off javascript on the sites and it worked again (limited, but enough for me to be usable)

A nice side effect of turning off javascript was that the cpu hungry, all annoying site-embedded ads went away

My italian ISP mail stopped working aswell (TELETU)

Stopped working because of outdated openssl or did they just change the Core function and that is not SSL errors at all? (and do you update cert in the root before ?)

Yep it' for sure an SSL issue.. it's not the first time i have this problem... and till now it was always r3solved by a recompile of the whole exe that used a more recent openssl

I'm using a recent certs downloaded from the curl website, it does not help here

is it logging that stops working with beta07? (as main page loads fine seems so with beta07 still)

Main page works, but i can't access my mailbox when i insert my email+password in the form

-- rebuild with the latest: GCC 11.1 and new latest OS4 SDk (so new MUI, DOS, EXec, pthreads and co). As one of the positive results is the size of the binary start to be smaller on 3MB (60MB instead of 63MB)
-- new youtube script from MorphOS's devs (ASiegel), so to make accelerated video player works with changed youtube.
1). Delete in your scripts Youtube Fullscreen Fix and Youtube HTML5 Converter. Restart Odyssey and add again but this time new scripts (so allowed sites and stuff will be new ones)
2). Add to URL preferences http://youtube.com with spoof as Ipad 13.2.3. So it will always switch to the mobile version
3). Now on any video when you click on any part of the video, you will have in the right/bottom area gadget to expand the video: clicking on it will bring our accelerated media player back.

That version will go to os4depot if no _new_ major problems are introduced by updating 3d party libs.

For me lha archive is corrupted, am I only one?

Here too I get error unarchiving :-/

As far as remember we discuss it somewhere and the reason, why it stay in with "MorphOS" words, was because of some internal needs. Can't remember now but it was explained some years ago for sure why there it shouldn't be changed.
