It looks like the A600GS/A12000NG developement killed everything related to AOS4 from AEON. When was the last Enhancer uptade, 3 years ago? The latest Amistore app?
The ultimate Amiga to satisfy everybody's wants and needs does not exist. The Ultimate Amiga according to all that I would want or need does not exist... but the A1200NG comes close.
Since 2015, when I sold my last Amiga (SAM460 lite), I have wanted an Amiga that looked like a C= Amiga hardware-wise, could handle my collection of 1.76 MB disks from the days when I had an A4000, could handle OCS/ECS/AGA graphics modes and 24-bit, could run my paint; animation; and 3D software, could run most of the games I have, could run the official AmigaOS, and could run everything as blazingly fast as WinUAE runs.
The 1200NG is close to what I want (nowhere near WinUAE speed, but faster than 68060). It is closer to my ideal than most of the other options presently offered for a much better price.

...so, the only hope in Hyperion. A very unexpected twist. Who would have thought
For AmigaKit to stay in business? Or perhaps somebody could refresh my memory about how these ARM "Amigas" came about and to what degree AEON is involved? Hyperion funded OS4 development through Mac game sales, and if projects like this eventually find their profits benefitting OS 4.2, then I guess it's (yet again) a matter of staying patient.
It's not a AEON product / Hyperion product. It’s a AmigaKit project, so it contains parts of Enhancer for 680x0.
Non standardized different API’s on 68K vs OS4, I think there is argument for having a common API, to enlarge the market, not sure if this product does that.
Developers love SDL, because you release software more than on one OS, enhancer can be that for Amiga software. If AmigaKit plays their cards right.
The 68k market will evolve with or without AmigaKit or AEON or Hyperion, if they are part of it or not, not everyone will buy into PowerPC system, not with prices its sold at.
I think this are the argument for this product. a low-cost entry product.

EBay nowadays is crazy high with Amiga stuff! I've seen working 1200 MB over at AmiBay from $175-$300 and fully assembled and working PiStorm32 with 3A+ from 100-150 or you get them brand new at AmigaKit for $140Quote:
If I can find an A1200 (full NTSC system with US layout keyboard, recapped, etc.) for less money than the A1200NG, I'll consider it. Q from the YouTube channel Hold and Modify recently posted a video about hoarding and collecting Amigas. He noted that the trick to finding a good price on an Amiga is reaching out to the community and staying off e-Bay. I'll see what I can find.

Yup Q's right I would post a wanted ad on Amiga forums and also register at AmiBay as I've had very good experiences buying and selling there over the years
