Well, there is Qt, which is work in progress, but probably won't really be usable in a tolerable way for a GUI like this until it can use hardware accelleration. Some of the other dependencies (ALSA, libsndfile, ...) seem to be covering what we have in AHI and/or avcodec and/or datatypes; it would probably be best to rewrite the interface parts to use those instead - so there is another huge task, most likely.

Yes, it can import FL projects. I´m a Reaper + FL via rewire user and it´s a great combination.
My real dream is to have something similar to Reaper in Amiga but it´s a dream I know.

Althought I think we need an improved AHI system, isn´t it?

The AmigaFuture version of SoundFX is out of date, it's the version before I helped the dev fix it for OS4. Use this version instead.

And my installation is even newer, from the authors homepage: SoundFX 4.3.94 (31.03.2005), the Aminet version shows: SoundFX 4.3.77 (30.03.2004).

Yeah just noticed and changed the link, his site links to aminet for the lha which is older.

I've had 4.3.94 since the day it was compiled :)

You might need the newer data file as well as that has some libs etc. in it.
