If that is the case, is there any point in making it a variable at all? The whole string will be localised anyway.
If so, then the change can be made in the catalog, no other changes will be needed. Just replace the %s with "OK" in the target language.
Indeed, would be fine aswell .. so the string will be just:
Quote:
A %s-reset is required before running the new version of AmiUpdate.\n\n\33c\33bThe reboot will happen after pressing ok.
I suggested to mantain the "variable" because i though you still want use it, but if there is no problem for you, then we can just avoid it at all and everything will be solved easily without any addition
Noted a strange behaviour, if during a search i press the "abort" button in order to stop the scanning, the scan will never be interrupted .. instead the scan will continue till the completation, but then it restart automatically !
Normal behaviour i think should be to just stop it and only show in the list what was found at the time of the abort's user action .. nothing else ..
Another issue, occured today : I tried to update today and I got a Login prompt window, to which I entered my credentials. It failed to update. Looking at the au.log, it shows : Quote:

Hi, after updating amiupdate amiupdate does not recognize my login. While on the Hyperion site with the same user and password I get my licenses and updates to download. Is there any solution, who can I ask? Thank you!
I compared my italian translation with the english one, while in english all strings will be placed correctly, in italian various strings will be placed wrongly even if the catalog will be correctly compiled, so as translator perception all appeared correct, but in reality when i open that window i can see that is not correct at all !
For example, when i had to have the translation for the string "_Purge" instead for that button i will have "_< Previous" And so on ...
