Otherwise I'm really happy about AioStreams that I can watch YouTube and also Twitch with my hardware, it works amazingly well.
Twitch and also YouTube have assigned Emotion and here the 3d acceleration helps immensely and gives me a very good feeling when streaming the videos. So I would also like to thank you again for AioStreams

videoFormats = response['formats']
KeyError: 'formats'
When trying to play YouTube videos via AioStreams, can anyone else confirm this?
TwitchTV works without any problems and I haven't changed anything in my setup/config.

Thank you for wanting to take a look AioStreams is currently the only solution for me to be able to watch YouTube and TwitchTV on my hardware with AmigaOs4.1.

@Maijestro I did some updates today. On my side it seems to work fine again with Youtube videos. Can you please test and let me know if it works for you as well?
I used to use aiostream with Invidious but this doesn't work anymore :
aiostreams vv1.7.7 (2023-12-20) - Developed by George Sokianos
Traceback (most recent call last): File "DH2:Video/aiostreams/youtube.py", line 490, in <module> main(sys.argv[1:]) File "DH2:Video/aiostreams/youtube.py", line 464, in main print ("Title: %s" % (cmnHandler.uniStrip(response['title']))) KeyError: 'title'
@K-L Unfortunately, there is a known issue with the invidious servers (https://github.com/iv-org/invidious/issues/4734) for some time now. This is happening in many instances, and I am trying to find one that works. I did again a change today to a working (for now) instance, but it might stop at any time.
Can you guys please let me know if you still have issues playing YT videos with aiostreams? Based on my recent tests this should work fine, although the videos are only 360p.

I get an I/O error message when I try to open YouTube streams with AioStreams via Emotion, with MPlayer there are no problems.
TwitchTv works with both Emotion and MPlayer via AioStreams.

Thank you for your reply. So, I guess, since it plays just fine with mplayer, aiostreams is working perfectly. It is a matter of the player setup on your system.
With some videos (for example some vevo videos), I get an I/O error too. When I download the HLS file to RAM, and play it from RAM with Emotion, the video plays fine.

MPlayer is unaccelerated and the better choice would still be Emotion. I'm also not sure how YT.Rexx does it, but here the YouTube streams from Invidious work perfectly and in 1080p. It's always good to have alternatives.
My configuration with Emotion:
- AioStreams for TwitchTV via Emotion - YT.Rexx for YouTube on Invidious via Emotion
On my system this is the perfect solution for me
