It would be nice if Amiga had a dedicated document format.
No it wouldn't. It would be much nicer if Amiga supported one or more of the common, platform-independent standards properly.

we need something simple like an updated .guide with better formatting.
AmigaGuide is a hypertext format devised for the display of program documentation. It was never designed for word-processing, which is an utterly different purpose.
@terminills More than excellent, I am still doing my Invoices with FinalWriter (OS4) - ARexx - MUIBase CRM. So yes, I am really looking forward to that. An Amiga OS4 native Version would be really appreciated - and I would be willing to pay a 100€ for an updated Version. Maybe I would also buy an AROS or Windows Version to be able to use it on my x86 Notebook.
I rarely use a word processor, but when I do I typically use Word Online. Pretty slow but it works, and I can print it at work without even needing to email the document anywhere.
All that's needed is a hotmail or live.com email and you have it in the top-left corner. You've got excel and powerpoint in there too.
Many years ago I used FinalWriter. Of course a native program is better, but this Word-in-the-browser is good enough for my needs now.
Software developer for Amiga OS3 and OS4. Develops for OnyxSoft and the Amiga using E and C and occasionally C++
Cool stuff there. Do you have a timeplan or a roadmap for that? Are you close to a specific release version? Is there a way we could help on moving things faster, by donations or preorders?

I wish I did. I always said no preorders because I wanted to make sure it would be finished before I accepted any money.
