Take the version from the author's homepage (can't remember the url right now) not the os4depot.net version!

I tested it with Forsaken! It's amazingly great on my Sam440ep & AOS4.1!
I'm really impressed. Works great even with my USB-Joypad and AmigaInput

actually, I ( still )don't have a "proper" CD-Drive, right now I borrowed one and created an iso-image. So, I used the iso image to start Forsaken. This worked without configuring anything

I finally made it work ! i wasn't selecting the right device (thanks Fara for your help)

But unfortunately it's pretty slow on Sam440, most 3D games have a poor framerate, i will have to adjust frameskipping.

Poor framerate? Do you use the gpu3d-plugin (or how is the hardware rendering modul called?)? Forsaken is running extremly smoothly on my Sam440ep (but Forsaken seem to have a poor resolution of only 320x240 in-game ?).

gpuw3d.dll - should be within the plugins drawer of the FPSE package

Why is it faster on 4.1? Are you saying the Warp3D plugin is considerably faster, that would explain it nicely.

What about AmigaOne (G3/G4) with OS 4.1? Is there a benefit to using gpuw3d with these systems?

I tryed latest FPSE on my os4.1/peg2, and it works must to say. I tryed some demos (just got it from pouet.net) - some problem with music sync (not for every demo, but for few).

What about games, at moment i tryed only "desctucrion derby raw" - it works just fine, but with some little 'glitches' in menu.

Also i of course tring Warp3d plugin, and, dunno why, but it's too slow and jerky. Jerky becouse i know how hard coded warp3d, and many time need to spend to make works it good. Slow - dunno why, it must be fast, but it's very slow even in 640x480 its like 5-10 fps only. For example software redner (default gpu plugin), even for 1024x768 give me smooth and fast render (50fps or kind of).

Will try today Tekken3 amd Morta Kombat Trilogy, to make clean picture about emulator.

Tryed Tekken 3 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy already. Well .. Mortal Kombat and Descruction Derby Raw pretty playable, Tekken a bit slow. Maybe need add some frame skip stuff, dunno. Also i tryed all these games with software render, becouse warp3d one works strange (slowly).

So, there is a video of this 3 games, emulator itself (+ one dsi), and 2 lame intros. Everyone can detect how it works.

ps. play more with FPSE, so right now Tekken3 works very smooth (just need set frame skipp to 2). Also CDDA music works fine from .bin files too.

That is nice. I still need to find various things it seems to get mine to work then.

Does or has anyone for fun, tried playing a PS2 game on it?

As I happen to have a PS2 cd game, and thought, if it can PS games, maybe it could also play ps2 games?

Cheers.

PS2 basically is as different from PSX as PS3 is from PS2. So the emulator has zero chance of running PS2 software.

BumpUp to 2022 (over 12yrs later).

Any news regarding the FPSE?
How does it run on newer machines like
X1000, X5000? With latest 4.1.x?

Is there a chance to get it running with Nova3D.
Maybe with visual improvements?
