Amiga Inc. and Copyright

Why is it that it says "? 1996-2008 Amiga, Inc. All rights reserved." here?

Since Amiga Inc. incorporated in Sep. 1999 and the copyrights existed back to 1985 and maybe even 1984, how can it start at 1996? I guess it's from when Gateway 2000 had them, but it seems awkward that it's not back to 1985 or from Jan. 1, 2000.

If it's from 1996, then it REALLY is unfathomable how nothing there is for them to show for the time span involved!


What does the future hold for these bright lights?
