Yes, I know this problem. It is caused by the sound server used by AmiCygnix. He is launched, when you start AmiCygnix, but not stopped when you shutdown it. I will fix this in the next release.
In the meantime the only solution is to stop the server manually. You can use "Scout" for this. Launch it, click on "Tasks", search for a task called "Background CLI [Cygnix:CygnixPPC/sbin/esd]", activate the entry and click on "Break".
