Samsung Syncmaster P2350 blanking like crazy on os 4.1 upd 1

I'm having issues with my monitor going blank all the time... please read here:

That is strange

I have a 244T here and it does the same thing, but...

it blanks only if i move a big window with lots of text around very fast (e.g. the radio station listing from TuneNet)and it also shifts for a second or so (trying to blank or does blank i presume

I have yet to find the option to turn this really annyoing behaviour off

edit: OK, solved, at least for me

DDC was to blame, i had it set to 60Hz, setting it to Preferred makes that strange flickering and blanking go away (for now...)

edit2: i see, one can comment in the once out commented screen modes after using ddc preferred...hmm, have to check if the other screenmodes still flicker
