Two minor issues with OS 4.0 classic

Finally I got some time to work on my OS4 classic installation on my A4kPPC in Micronk BigTower, Mediator bus board with Voodoo4 graphical card, Terratec512i digital soundcard and 10/100mBit NIC.

First issue I have is that on reboot the OS (February 08 update installed) tells me that the "LoadMonDrvs failed with returncode 10 - the Voodoo file is not executable" and then comes up in LowRes. How can I make the system boot with the preset Picasso mode (e.g.1024x768)?

Second issue is how can I make my NIC in the Mediator work?
If I type the IP of my router in the address line of IBrwse I get the message that there is no route to that device or so.
