ACA 1230/28 is a brand new low-cost efficient accelerator for the Amiga 1200 computer.

It is produced by Individual Computers and features 64MB Fast Memory as standard. Additionally it will feature a 1MB Kickstart ROM re-kick option.

Final production unit pictures are now added to our website and pre-orders are being taken. The item will be in stock at the end of November.

The A600 version will be added to AmigaKit webstore as well as soon as we have confirmation from Individual Computers.

This looks like another quality product from Jens!

I would still like to see this man tackle the challenge of building a new PPC-Amiga from scratch.

He could probably make use of the Clone-A project to provide it with the AGA chipset, which perhaps would make it more of an "AMIGA" in most people's eyes

Oh well, as long as he keeps making quality like this!

A1200 - 50Mhz 030, 16MB

- what is the kind of memory on this board?? (better than EDO)

- plug'n'play ??

Very efficient 2-1-1-1 burst design

- what does that mean ??

It means that it's probably as fast as you can get for a memory interface for that CPU.

It has a minimum number of "wait states" for the cpu to wait while it accesses memory.

The entire focus of this accelerator was to have the fastest memory design possible, AFAIK.

yes, I have seen after on the amikit site that is modern RAM on the accelerator.

with 56mhz, the accelerator board will be a verry good success.

user informations:

- blizzkick will be usable with this board ??

- amikit could post a memory test (or better CPU speed test) between this card and a blizzard 030 ?? (hum, curiosity, curiosity

Looks like a nice board, very small card too for an accelerator. 64MB is plenty of memory on a classis 030 too.

Very interested to see the A600 version, always wanted one of the Apollo 030 cards for A600 but very hard to get hold of compared to A1200 accelerators.

Tempted to pick up a classic system on eBay now.

You might want to try AmiBay as well if you are looking into used gear.

Can't argue with the price which is pretty outstanding.

I think it's SD RAM like in the AmigaONE but rated at 200Mhz.

It is the memory timings. Memory timings explained.

PC overclocking fans would die for these timings.
