As nowadays in amigaland we've got various browsers that support CSS html coding and few useful parsing libraries are available, would it be feasible to do a refreshed html datatype supporting some more tags?
I've always used the good simpleHTML by Sebastian Bauer, but it was last updated in 2005 and doesn't support CSS at all. Anyone knows if Sebastian still around? Anyone has got its sources?
I know html and css are both a beast and combined are a huge task for a single developer, but I would appreaciate only some very basic engine update. It would lead to many possibilities, such more pleasant manuals than those amigaguide 80's stuff. And more than other it would be possibile to open html files without the need to open CPU and RAM hungry browsers.
What do you think?
