According to this website less that 2000 users, and to top it off, less than 100 using OS4.1!
I find this an innaccurate map, so I figured by posting it here, maybe we can add ourselves to this also, and see the numbers CRAWL up!
haha
Cheers

@Gebrochen I clicked on the link you provided and tried the page. Clicking on the icons doesn't seem to do anything. Despite that I clicked the contribute link but the resulting page insists on a password and email. I'm certainly not going to create an account and give out my email to an unknown person just to let the site know that there is another Amiga user in the world. I don't think you are going to get much participation that way. The site needs to make it easy to enter information without an account or email if you want a lot of participation.
Besides, someone else tried this a long time ago at GAUHPIL and after all these years it shows only 701 Amiga users worldwide. Unfortunately that page is now full of popups and is unlikely to be used anymore.

This should be the reason why the most important Amiga show should be held again in DEutschland / Cologne (like in good old former times) and not in USA (AmiWest) :) It's too far away for us, being the majority of all! ;)
It's been inconsistent whether it was able to show the country map and entries.
I was able to add an entry, login & update that entry... But little else... Haven't see a map of the US since and see now way to add more systems to my "account".
Try again, apparently some users rush when writing their email, and give incorrect email address, NOT saying you did this, but yeah, perhaps try again!
Or did you get a validation email since posting?
Cheers and thanks for your support

When I used it, it seemed logical and well presented, as well as easy to find where to add more systems, its under the contributions tab.
ALSO
thanks for adding an entry.

Were it possible for you to spread this link to some of your speaking language amiga website forums or news? Was it italian?
Cheers and thanks

Well since you asked the English community "Why few entries on AmigaMap?" - the database has grown by 800+ entries. I would say that is a positive result. :)
just read what is written to see the local US map. This site shows a bit more than just dots on a map, thats why you have to do 1 or 2 clicks more than just opening a page.
and you was able to add an entry, how can you not be able to add another one? It's the same link.

yes, you mean a lot more of fake and spam entries. I agree on this. Thats why a registration.
I wish more people that can speak another language other than english, as in, two languages english and frnech in your case, would do the same what you did.
It would definately be interesting to see what happens.
Question for you, can you post a link to that french forum you posted this on?
Also, how many french forums or news sites are you part of? not that Im asking for you or anyone to get carried away like I have, haha.
Cheers

Go to the site.... In OWB (OK... the site doesn't support an Amiga browser... I guess 68k users should take a leap or a peecee, whichever isn't worse?).
Click "Global Map", get a world map. Select "US" in the pop-up, click "Select", get choices of OS's. Click "Show Map" on AmigaOS and get..... wait for it....
<tah dah>
...a page with NO map and the pop-up gadget appears to have gone back to "Show from All Countries".
Let's say you go back to the initial page and start with another route...
Go to the AmigaOS pop-up, select "US", click the "Select" button... Then I'm given the OS selection page (didn't I just select AmigaOS?? - whatever), click on the "Show on Map" button... It takes me to another page with NO map and "all countries".
As I said.... Unreliable... I suggest that's being charitable.
It seems there's some dodgy code behind that website.
@PJS please learn to communicate. And instead of bitching here in a forum you should send the webmaster an email explain your problem in complete sentences, that he can check this. also the page has still in BETA status and not final at all. So if there are bugs, problems or whatever the webmaster needs to know this to fix it etc. And email is the best way for this.
Thank you.
