Aladdin4D background problem
Just popping in
Just popping in

See User information
Good day,

I've been working on a project for the past four months. For the first two months, I worked on an animated background (clouds, space, lightning, etc.). For the last two months, I've added some 3D objects on top of those backgrounds. When I finally tried to put them all into a video, I noticed that the 3D frames had a different background color than the ordinary background frames Aladdin4D seemed to adjust the red by around 20, and the green by around 9, but not always. I don't know what recoloring method Aladdin4D uses. I was wondering what I have to do to change the background frames back to their original colors?

Thank you,

Royce

I've been playing with ImageFX to fix the Aladdin4D background problem.
1. Load the 3D image into IFX.
2. Load the original background as a layer.
3. Slide the blend down to 0%.
4. Use the free selector to select the 3D object which is now visible from the first layer.
5. Invert the selection in the buffer panel.
6. Slide the layer blend back to 100%.
7. Pick up the brush from the inverted region.
8. Delete the top layer.
9. Import the brush as a new layer.
10. Flatten layers and save.
It is a complex process, but it works until someone comes up with a clever but simple process.
