QT4.7 more library problems

I downloaded and installed QT4.7 freshly from OS4 Depot.

Everythink seemed ok, but I did get the user-startup complaint
about "assign sobjs: Qt:lib ADD" failing.

Adding the suggested line "dir sobjs: > NIL" to "undefer" the
SObjs: assign did fix that ok, and after startup SObjs: is
Assigned to SYS:Sobjs + Qt:lib.

However, any Qt demo or smTube immediately pops up the
message "Could not open iconv.library V1"
and hangs the system shortly afterward.

Anyone seen that?

I've re-downloaded iconv.so from the Minimal amiga QT4.7, and checked
the MD5Sum. Put iconv.so into Qt:lib, and into Qt:sobjs and into
Qt: and into Qt:demo etc, as well as into Sys:sobjs itself and still I get the same thing.

Is there supposed to be an amiga library named iconv.library?

I don't know if it will fix your problem there's an later version of QT available on sourceforge.

I use that one and don't have any problems with smtube. And yes there's an iconv.library for os4 available on aminet.
