SDLMplayer -some progress

I seem to have been able to screw up my SDLMPlayer install trying to clean up a number of parallel iinstalls of different versions of MPlayer

The archive i got comes only with the Mplayer executable and its .info file

I did put them in them in different installs replacing the original
and in MPlayer_Gui too
I get this reaction

Is this indeed the last DL version ?

How do i get a clean install?

HOME problem solved using th MPLAYER_HOME env variable
My config file just contains




Now i get

This codecs.conf is too old and incompatible with this MPlayer release! at line 6



I hunted for available codecs.conf files and found
2009-02-09 15:58:22 release 20070930
2010-11-11 14:50:18 release 20100605
1980-01-22 09:28:50 release 20100913


Previous observation is with release 20100605
What do i have to change ?

Why not used the Liveforit version for your SAM460 ?

No options needed, no cgx_wpa, etc.
