Edge connector stands in the way of vampire 1200

It seems that majsta is having problems sourcing the A1200 expansion slot edge connectors needed for creating an A1200 Vampire card (Really fast FPGA based accelerator).

Read about his problems here:

Anyone with an idea on what he could do?

Individual computers seems to have connectors, perhaps they can cooperate with them?

Or how about using used connectors? I bet there's a lot of old cards not being used anyway.

Locally, I know three companies that manufacture custom connectors.
I have spoken to them and sent the spec and photos from majsta site. Awaiting a reply from them.

Seems like they are having problems with their web site.

You can find most of the article on the main page though:

I did suggest talking to Elbox about it as well, they use precision cut PCI-specification connectors for their Mediator adaptor boards, and the job they do is so good that I couldn't tell it was two cut-n-shut connectors until I desoldered one. Obviously it's not ideal, but my Mediator's been happily working away for over a decade with such a connector so it's a definite path that could be followed.
