Fienix on X1000 - anyone got it to work?

I downloaded it from here:
https://fienixppc.blogspot.com/p/cfe.html?m=1

1) Instead of a usb stick I used a usb HDD
2) I took all the steps (switching around the keyboard to another port after entering CFE)

It starts it loads all the stuff with many green OKs on the left side, but I end up with a black screen when it probably should load in the GUI.

Anyone have a fix for that behaviour?
Do I maybe need the keyboard back in port 1 to make fienix boot?

...

Thank you, looking for an alternative to use the x1000 hardware...

I think that when it comes to linux on A1, you will get an answer the fastest on the Hyperion forum. Christian is active there.

I was under the impression that the Hyperion solution is a commercial one and i won't pay for open source stuff, even if it's in some kind of "distribution".

But ok, will try there.

Thank you

i had smth similar.
and the problem was a not supported graphics card.
i had an older one which i used to boot fienix. you can then set smth to activate sort of compatibility mode. after that also the new card works - but i believe more slowly.

but i only booted it once and was disappointed about the speed and feeling. it was not very "fluent" to work with. i even installed it on a spare harddisk. but removed it again.

check the hyperion forum for the black screen and graphics card problem. i think i asked about it and got an answer there.

regards...
michael
