Mixer update needed for A1222 and OxygenHD AHI devices

Folks,

Not sure who the current 'owner' of the Mixer tool is, but it needs an update to recognize a1222.audio and oxygenhd.audio devices. Currently on an A1222 launching the Mixer results in a 'no cards found' message.

Is there someone I should contact directly?

It is maintained at openamiga.

But adding support means knowing how the card work. Because mixer bypasses AHI and talks directly to the hardware.

Lyle & Alex did a great job on the X1000 onboard audio chip so I'm assuming A-Eon will get them involved on the A1222 onboard audio..though makes you wonder why not make sure to keep the same audio chip as the X1000 as I remember Lyle & Alex having a heck of a time to get it working properly with Mixer etc.

The X1000's audio is built into the SB600.

@Rob

For the X1000, the controller is inside the SB600. The audio codec is an external device.

The same is true for the A1222. This board also uses an external audio codec. Just a different communication interface.
