I don't remember if I brought up this before, but there is Linux PPC source code for Dolphin out there. Thoughts?

Dolphin is an excellent WiI Emulator. This would bring lots of
cool Games to Amiga if once ported.

After almost 20 years of existence of Amigaos 4, we did not even see the N64 emulator, and yet it was even for WOS. Damage Nintendo is a very nice platform for games, but Amiga has no luck to emulators of these machines :(

Yeah it's sad that no work was made on these emulators on the Amiga side.
I own every Nintendo console released, but it would be nice to see GC/Wii on OS4.

Edit: And all the other PPC console emulators as well!

Yes, would be fun to have access to games on those platforms!

Isn't there a Nintendo 64 emulator in the works on MorphOS? I think I remember reading about that a while back on Morphzone.

Most likely because the dreaded Big/Little Endian issue, probably
many have started, to do the port but found that it was not as
easy as that, and then we have Altivec emulation or CELL
(IBM's Altivec variant), even if you have Altivec then you still
have to bswaping everything that goes from X5000 /SAM / AOne
/ X1000 to the emulator. If there is a processor that really
would need bswap in harware that is the PPC (some bit-shifting
registers perhaps, or XENA ???)

Wrong, when you emulate PowerPC on PowerPC, or 680x0 on PowerPC, there is no Endians issues.. Thats kind of the point!!

The problem is hardware virtualization (virtual CPU, virtaul memory), and how to implement that.
I’m no expert on that, and I guess there are not many, however JIT might provide a solution.

Actually not many write assembly on PowerPC, nor know the opcodes by heart.
