Os4 showconfig tool

I need help. Is there any kind of software for OS4 and NG HW to check and show full config specs? Something like Showconfig on classica Amiga. Where I can check and see full specs RAM, GFF type, GFX RAM, CPU etc. for my x5000?

I tried Ranger but I got some DSI errors and it crash.

Also I found on my old HDD SysMon old versio 2.0 it works nice. I can see now that SysMon is now part of zTool, so it is time to spend some money and make update. ;)

I believe that ranger from os4depot is an old version and that you can find a later version
that should work on the x5000.

You can get an updated version from the contributions installer on the os4.1 Fe CD.

I'm not at home so I can't check the versions so you have to check it out if you want a ranger that works on x5000 😎

Both Ranger and Sysmon are now commercial; the latest versions are available on Amistore.

identify_library is open and free, can be used for some who like to make one.


there is also Scout (OS4 version, its buggy it kind a works).

It provides a lot of information, and it is working quite well.

Actually ssolie gave permission to include the commercial version of ranger as a contribution for os4.1 fe so you'll find the same version on the cd and on amistore
