Hi all,
I just got sent a picture from an iphone user and saw that it
was an .heic file. Looking online it appears to be a newer
image format called "high efficiency image file format".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Efficiency_Image_File_FormatI tried a few different apps on my machine and nothing would
open it. I also didn't see anything listed on OS4depot for
"HEIFF". When I read about the MPEG connections, I even tried
MPlayer on the file, but that went nowhere.
Any suggestions on how to access this?
Is this a matter of an existing datatype needing to be extended
or a new one needing to be hatched? Thoughts?
Thanks,
PJS
