ClipDown Version 2.6 includes usability enhancements. It adds a dropdown chooser gadget for easy changing of download modes. Also includes a QUIET tooltype and -q option to not open console when viewing files or playing videos. Still opens console for playing audio and downloading to allow abort. Can now be quit via the break command for script support. Example script for starting and quiting OWB and ClipDown together included in archive. See below for full list of changes.
A small OS4 utility which uses 'wget' to download webpages and files pointed to by HTTP: and FTP: protocal URL's that reside in theclipboard. Additionally it can play/view or save direct link graphics,audio, video and postscript (PDF etc.) files as well as files on sites such as YouTube and Myspace. Playback and viewing requires "AmiGS", "Multiview" and optionally "getvideo" and "Mplayer (read docs about version required)".
