The NetSurf developers are happy to announce the immediate availability of NetSurf 2.5. This release contains many bug fixes and improvements.

It is available to download from http://www.netsurf-browser.org/

* Handle http authentication with no realm.
* Cookie handling improvements.
* Improved support for {min|max}-{width|height} CSS properties.

* Better handling of memory exhaustion.
* Made text export more robust.
* Fix relative positioning of floats.
* Align baselines of text on a line.

* Allow any name for frame targets.

i am posting from NetSurf, you did a big work ! thanks Chris! it is nice to have a browser with a complete gui like this one!, it reminds me the time with Aweb and the amiga 1200

The "Post Comment" button does not work (Warning: Button cannot be activated), I presume it uses Javascript? But the Reply button does work (as proved by this post!).

Speed seems about as good as OWB (but it starts a hell of a lot faster of course). If it's stability proves to be similar to OWB's then I am sold!

P.S. Roll on Javascript, not that you can do anything about that yourself.

It works fine when browsing amigaworld.net but crashes when browsing amigans.net
