Re: Its OWB and its at 3.24!
It doesn't work here. No any window appears when started from WB or Shell (no any output either) ????? Anybody have any idea what's wrong ?
Edit: Checking with Snoopy OWB requires pthreads.library v53 when I have v52.2 on my system. (Also there's v52.2 on AOS4.1 update1 CD.) Where can I find v53 from ? |

Re: Its OWB and its at 3.24!
Maybe a stupid question, but does the latest OWB work with plain OS4.1 or does it require the Update 1 to be installed?

@GrumpyOldMan
Seems that even updatge 1 won't be enough. Seems like it requires a version not yet released for the public. Does this mean a new os update soon? |

I'll try to create a patch for OWB 3.24 tomorrow, if that doesn't work I'll have to rebuild it next weekend. Edit: If you have the SDK installed, or another sed tool, you can fix it using sed -i "s/\x38\xa0\x00\x35\x7f\x64\xdb\x78/\x38\xa0\x00\x32\x7f\x64\xdb\x78/" OWB |

Re: Its OWB and its at 3.24!
@Joerg
Since you need to rebuild it can you try to update also to the latest SVN ? There's a lot of improvement/bug solved since latest SVN 1202 |

3.25 has just been released which fixes the pthreads V53 dependency.

Ah ok didn't know that
Tabs seems more stable now in 3.25 but it seems that paste URL on the search (with RMB) doesn't work anymore ... |

Re: Its OWB and its at 3.24!
This is great
but could someone finally inform me why OWB is restricted to 5 parallel downloads at a time and once 5 downloads have commenced you can't even surf inside that copy of OWB until one download is completed. To get around this problem (I personally like to download around 10 files at once) I run 3 copies of OWB... 2 to download with and 1 to browse... LOL |

Re: Its OWB and its at 3.24!
For a start what pirated software is actually available? LOL
I'm guessing there is some variable I can change? I just find it extremely strange that no one else has conveyed this limitation... Try it... download 5 files and see if you can do anything until one download is complete... As for you thinking downloading up to five files at once is strange I can only assume you use the Internet strictly for communication... his to there own I suppose |

Re: Its OWB and its at 3.24!
@Elwood
I need to download sometime 10, 20, 30 archives at time. With OWB i always try to download no more that 1-2 files, just to avoid broken and unfinished archives. Download manager (normal one, not that clipdowns with wget in shell) are must must must. @joerg Plz, make a download manager for. |

Re: Its OWB and its at 3.24!
I have version 52.2 of pthreads.library.
It must be something else in OS4.1 to 4.0 looking at the replies that say it does not still work. |
