Dental Info is a commercial software package used by dentists in Norway to inform patients about dental treatment. The software is also used in schools as part of the education of dental secretaries. At Nordental 2010, the largest dentist convention in Norway, Ferrule Media released version 4.0.

Dental Info 4.0 is developed by the norwegian amiga-based company Ferrule Media, and is now sold by NDD, the largest supplier of dental equipment in Norway. Screenshots of Dental Info are present at our homepage.

Dental Info is produced using SAM440EPs/ 0S4.1 and Hollywood Designer 3.0 of Airsoft Softwair. It serves as a good example of how the excellent Hollywood Designer 3.0 is capable of making successful programs with high quality.

The amazing features of the Hollywood Designer opens up numerous possibilities for developers as well as regular AmigaOS / MorphOS users. Be sure to grab a copy Hollywood Designer once released later this year.

Below are some photos from our stand at Nordental 2010. At display we had several machines running Dental Info 4.0 (Windows) as well as two machines running our infochannel Dental Kanal (running on Sam440EPs/OS4.1).

If I remember correctly you live nearby Lillestr?m? One "amiga'ized" clinic close to you is in Skjetten. Have you got plans to expand this product all over the world, basically an english translation should increase a lot potential customers in dentist business. Just thinking about that as one of my best friend's wife runs a dentist office here in france.

Hollywood + Designer is the perfect combination to make educational programs - both user-interactive software aswell as presentations. And the best part is that you don't need to have any knowledge about coding! If you try the Dental Info-demo at our homepage (windows or mac) you will see how interactive menus can be made using Designer. The demo is an old version of Dental Info (alot simpler compared to version 4.0). The program is made using Designer and is made out of of small .png-brushes and text-objects. Everything is made by point and click! I'm certain that you will be able to put Hollywood/Designer into good use, and have great fun while working on your projects! Torgeir Vee Ferrule Media Norway

Hollywood Designer produces executables that we have successfully tested on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003 (Server), Windows Vista and Windows 7. One benefit is that all gfx and even fonts may be compiled inside the executable (optional) - this way you may release your software as a single file that doesn't even need installation. You may start it directly from a cd, usb-stick or similar. You may ofcourse copy/paste it to the machine aswell. With the help from Airsoft Softwair we have also developed our own install-software using Hollywood. I believe our installsoftware is one of the most userfriendly on the market.
