Hyperion Entertainment is looking for people to join the beta testing team for the soon to be released AmigaOS 4.1 classic versions.

We are looking for people that have prior experience with AmigaOS 4.x, preferably AmigaOS 4.0 on Classics. In addition, knowledge about using bugzilla is required. You also need to have an Amiga computer (A4000 or A1200) with PowerPC accelerator (CyberStormPPC or BlizzardPPC).

To apply, please write an email to thomasf at hyperion-entertainment.biz, and include your postal address, as participants are required to sign a nondisclosure agreement.

Just can't stay away Joined: 11/24/2006 From: Sanremo Comments: 1899	Re: Hyperion Entertainment is looking for beta testers fo... this is my configuration: amiga 1200 + PPC 603+ 210 Mhz + 256 Mb ram + Mediator + Voodoo 3 3000 and more.. i had problem installing the amiga os 4.0 and it didn't work for me.. i don't know if the 4.1 could work on my system..

Well, OS 4.1 for classic, is good news for the programmers because our job will arrive to more Amigas, and other reason to choose OS4 instead of MorphOS or AROS, with respect to these Amiga OSs.

Blizzard PPC 060/603e@270Mhz (real 275Mhz processor) 67.667Mhz bus 2x Bvision with 250Mhz RamDac (only two Bvision cards in the world to have this). FastATA MKIII,Prelude sound card. Subway/Clockport splitter when i find time to connect them. motherboard 1D1 or 2B with onboard FPU

Prelude sound card works (68k drivers) under OS4.0 Remember to gain extra speed a card does not always need to be overclocked. i still need information on how to increase the Bvision memory clock with OS4.0 or the new to be release OS4.1 for classic.
